Jubaili Bros Technical Seminar, which was held on October 21 at the One & Only Royal Mirage – Dubai, saw a high turnout of businessmen, consultants, suppliers and end users, some flying in from as far away as Kenya, Ethiopia and Nigeria. Over eighty people attended the seminar which had a range of technical information about generator sets and its components. Key presenters came from Perkins Engines, UK, Leroy-Somer Alternators, France and Deep Sea Electronics, UK.
Mr. Gary Jones, General Sales Manager from Perkins Engines Co. Ltd. UK gave a presentation on the new 4000 series engines, which are used for the larger generator sets ranging from 725 KVA and above. That was followed by a presentation from Mr. Neil Williams, Technical Sales Support Manager, Perkins Engines Co. Ltd. UK, who presented detailed aspects of the Perkins engines.
In the afternoon Mr. Nawar Shubber, Regional Sales Manager ME and Mr. Emile Mouni, Electronics Projects Manager from Leroy-Somer/Emerson Industrial Automation, rounded up the presentation by presenting general as well as technical aspects of the Leroy-Somer Alternators.
In continuation was a quick presentation from Mr. Zein Elzein, Business Development Manager, Deep Sea Electronics about Deep Sea control modules.
The event which started in the morning with a presentation on Jubaili Bros by Mr. Jad Jubaili, Business Development Manager, ended with a lively question and answer session lead by Mr. Keith Johnston, Business Development Manager, Marapco, UK.
